This artwork celebrates the stunning south eastern entrance way to the Royal Victoria Park, at the end of Royal Avenue. The pedestrian entries are each topped by  bronze lions standing with their paws raised onto gilded balls, replicas of the marvellous Medici lions and representative of the crown of first king of England, King Edgar whose coronation was at Bath Abbey.
